A large, inclusive secondary school in Hull is looking for a passionate and strategic SENCO to lead their SEND provision starting September 2025. The school champions equitable access and high aspiration for all learners.
Your Role:
You will lead the SEND team, shape inclusive classroom strategies, coordinate external referrals, and ensure all SEND learners make excellent progress.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of EHCPs and support plans

Manage a team of LSAs and liaise with external agencies and families

Provide SEND training and CPD to staff across the school

Oversee all compliance with the SEND Code of Practice

Promote an inclusive ethos where every student can thrive
You Will Need:

QTS and the National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete)

Substantial experience supporting students with a range of needs

Strong organisational skills, strategic mindset, and communication excellence
