SENCO required from September to work on a full-time basis

Experienced SENCO to lead the SEND team and provision

We are looking for a qualified and proactive SENCO to join a forward-thinking and inclusive school in Salisbury. The role will involve managing the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy, coordinating EHCP reviews, working with external agencies, and leading a dedicated team of LSAs and TAs.

This is a vital leadership role in a school that takes a whole-child approach to education. The SENCO will ensure that all pupils with additional needs are well supported and challenged academically.

Experience and Qualifications

  • QTS and National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete)

  • Experience leading SEND strategy in a secondary school

  • Excellent understanding of the SEND Code of Practice

  • Skilled in working with families, staff and external agencies

  • Right to work in the UK
