SENCO - Two Secondary Schools HayesLocation: HayesStart Date: ASAPContract: Full-timeDuration: Temporary / PermanentWe are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to work across two secondary schools in Hayes. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic SEND professional to take a key leadership role and make a meaningful impact on the provision and outcomes for pupils with special educational needs.The successful SENCO will work closely with senior leaders, teachers, support staff, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure that pupils with SEND receive high-quality, appropriate support across both schools.Key responsibilities:Lead and coordinate SEND provision across two secondary schoolsOversee the identification, assessment and support of pupils with SENDDevelop and review EHCPs, SEND support plans and individual provisionWork closely with teaching staff to ensure effective classroom strategies and reasonable adjustmentsMonitor pupil progress and evaluate the impact of SEND interventionsLiaise with parents/carers and external professionalsCoordinate referrals and work with local authorities and other agenciesSupport and advise staff on SEND strategies and best practiceEnsure SEND policies and procedures are implemented effectivelyContribute to whole-school improvement and safeguarding processesThe ideal candidate:Has proven experience working as a SENCO within a secondary school settingHolds or is working towards the National Award for SEN ..... full job details .....
