SENCO (Alternative Provision School)

Are you an experienced SENCO seeking a rewarding opportunity within a Alternative Provision setting?

We, Academics, are working closely with an Alternative Provision School located in Yardley who are seeking a experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their team. The school supports Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4 pupils with EHCPS, who primarily present SEMH needs, alongside ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviours.

The role includes:

• Leading and overseeing SEND standard across the school
• Supporting pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
• Working closely with teachers and outside organisations
• Monitoring pupils progress and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place
• Supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment

With only a maximum of 15 students throughout the school, this is a great opportunity for a driven and proactive SENCO to truly make an impact in a small, encouraging Alternative Provision setting.
