This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, who is passionate about helping pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The Role As an Autism Spectrum Disorder Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the school''s SEN team to provide tailored support to pupils with autism and associated additional needs. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and development Helping pupils manage transitions, routines and changes throughout the school day Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Implementing individual support and learning strategies Supporting pupils who may experience sensory processing difficulties Encouraging independence, confidence and social development Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and other professionals Creating a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment Monitoring ..... full job details .....
