Job Title: 1:1 SEN Tutor - English and Maths Location: Newcastle (Local Library, NE5) Pay: £30 per hour Hours: 10 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 2 hours per day) Schedule: Term-time, during school hours About the Role We are seeking a reliable, patient, and supportive 1:1 SEN Tutor to work with a Year 8 student in the NE5 area. The student is currently working below age-related expectations and requires tailored support in English and Maths. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by helping the student build confidence and close learning gaps in a calm, structured environment. Key Responsibilities Targeted Tuition: Deliver 2-hour daily sessions focused on foundational literacy and numeracy.
