      <description>Location: Basingstoke | Salary: &amp;pound;25 - &amp;pound;28/hour | Type: Contract | Hours:  10 hours per week (Flexible scheduling)   Rate:  -2528 per hour   Requirements:  Enhanced DBS + up-to-date safeguarding training   We are seeking an experienced and compassionate tutor to provide support for a 16-year-old learner with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who presents with SEMH needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).   About the Learner   The student is intelligent, creative and enjoys gaming, music, practical activities and ICT-based learning. They can engage well when supported by trusted adults and benefit from positive relationships, clear structure and consistent encouragement.    The Challenges:  High anxiety, low self-confidence, fear of failure, and emotional dysregulation. Struggles to communicate emotions or ask for help.   What Works:  Extreme predictability, clear structure, consistent reassurance, and a calm pace.    Tutor Responsibilities    Deliver highly personalized, interest-led 1:1 sessions. Co-regulate anxiety and build confidence. Promote independence and safe community engagement. Maintain clear records of progress and liaise with parents.   &lt;/p</description>
