The setting supports young people with a range of additional needs and provides an environment focused on helping learners develop their education, confidence and independence.The provision is looking to take on a SEND Tutor on a long-term basis, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available starting ASAP. The successful SEND Tutor will support learners aged 16+ with needs including Autism / ASD, Learning Disabilities / LD and behaviours that challenge, adapting sessions and approaches to meet individual needs.The successful SEND Tutor will have: Relevant experience supporting young people aged 16+ with SENDExperience working with Autism / ASD and Learning Disabilities / LDExperience supporting young people who may display behaviours that challengeThe ability to adapt learning and support to individual needsA patient, resilient and understanding approachStrong communication and relationship-building skills In return for the above you can expect ..... full job details .....
