We are urgently recruiting experienced tutors to support looked-after children and asylum-seeking young people in Brighton and Hove. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners who need tailored, compassionate educational support.Role OverviewWe are seeking dedicated tutors to deliver high-quality, 1:1 tuition across a range of subjects and levels:Primary (EYFS and KS1-KS2)Secondary: English, Maths and ScienceFunctional Skills (Maths and English up to Level 2)Student ProfileYou will be supporting children and young people who:Are looked-after or asylum seekersAre working below age-related expectationsMay have Special Educational Needs (SEN) including:ADHDDyslexiaDyscalculiaODDSEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)Often experience high anxiety and may be emotionally based school avoidersRequirementsMinimum 2 years UK teaching or tutoring experienceQTS and PGCE essential(Exception: ESOL tutors must hold a Level 5 ESOL qualification)Strong understanding of SEN and trauma-informed approachesAbility to build trust and engage vulnerable learnersDetailsLocation: Brighton and HovePay: £30 - £32.50 per hourHours:Morning sessions (URGENT)Afternoon sessions (URGENT)After schoolCommitment: 1-5 hours per student per weekPositions: Multiple tutors requiredWhy Join Us?Flexible working hoursHighly rewarding role supporting vulnerable young peopleOpportunity to make a lasting impact on students'' confidence and ..... full job details .....
