SEN Tutor - Hounslow Local AuthorityLocation: HounslowContract: 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension/permanent opportunityStart: ImmediateHours: 9am-5pm Monday to FridayAn exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN TutorRemedy Tutors are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor to join the Hounslow SEN Tuition Team, supporting children and young people to re-engage with education, develop their skills and achieve positive outcomes.This is an exciting opportunity to work within Hounslow Council''s Skills, Careers and Employment service, specifically within Young People''s and Targeted Learning.The role is initially offered on a 6-month temporary basis, with the potential for the successful candidate to either apply for a permanent position directly with the Local Authority or continue working through Remedy on a temporary basis.The RoleAs an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for assessing, planning and delivering high-quality, flexible SEND education to learners across primary, secondary and/or post-16 age groups.You will work closely with young people, families, schools, colleges and other professionals to understand individual needs, remove barriers to learning and support learners to make meaningful progress.Your responsibilities will include:Assessing individual learner needs and developing appropriate education and support plansPlanning and delivering engaging, high-quality SEND learning programmesAdapting teaching, resources and ..... full job details .....
