We are currently experiencing a high demand for one-to-one and small-group SEND Specialist Tutors who have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Hebburn area . The Opportunity Year 5 - Female Hours - x3 per week (2x 1.5-hour sessions) SEN Needs - ASD, Anxiety, sensory processing difficulties, Demand avoidant Subjects - English and Maths Requirements - QTS, SPLD or high level of experience working with both Autistic and demand avoidant students We have received a referral for this student due to start in September, with 2 x 1.5-hour sessions per week initially, focusing on English and Maths, tuition alongside 30 minutes of work around executive functioning. The student is working towards age related expectations, but her current level is significantly delayed right now across literacy and numeracy skills, although it is not clear that this is as a direct result of her thinking and reasoning abilities.
