SEN tutor

About the role:

• Provide one-to-one or small group tuition to students with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs
• Deliver tailored lessons that support academic progress and personal development
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs
• Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support
• Monitor and report on student progress

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Relevant teaching or tutoring experience (QTS is desirable but not essential)
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
