SEN Tutor

Prospero Teaching is expanding its team of passionate and skilled Tutors to support a growing number of young learners who thrive in a 1:1 learning environment. We are currently working with children and young people who require alternative provision across a wide age range-from EYFS to Post-16.You will provide tailored 1:1 support to learners who may have a range of additional needs including:SEN (Special Educational Needs)SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance)AnxietyAt risk of PEX (Permanent Exclusion)Each learner is unique, and your role will be to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning experience that meets their individual needs.We Welcome Applications From Professionals With Experience In:Nurseries / EYFS settingsPrimary and Secondary schoolsColleges and Post-16 educationAlternative provision and specialist settingsAs a Tutor, you will: Deliver personalised 1:1 sessions in line with the learner''s age, ability, and needsSupport academic progress and emotional wellbeingUse strategies to manage behaviour and reduce barriers to learningBuild strong, trusting relationships with learners and their familiesMaintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviewsWork collaboratively with Prospero Teaching and other professionals involved in the learner''s careAbout you:Have at least 1 year of experience working within UK schoolsAre confident in planning and delivering creative, learner-centred sessions Proven ..... full job details .....
