SEN tutor in Hayes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised English and Maths tuition at GCSE level
• Adapt teaching strategies to support dyslexia and individual learning needs
• Build a strong, trusting relationship to encourage engagement and confidence
• Support emotional regulation through a calm, consistent approach
• Monitor progress and provide feedback

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly dyslexia
• Strong understanding of GCSE English and Maths curriculum
• Experience supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
