      <description>Location: London | Salary: 40.00-40.00 Hourly | Type: Contract | Our client is seeking a warm, experienced SEND teacher to deliver bespoke 1:1 education to a 19-year-old young woman with Down Syndrome, as part of an EOTAS package. The successful candidate will design and deliver a personalised curriculum focused on functional literacy and numeracy, communication, independence and life skills, working alongside a wider therapy team. Key Responsibilities  Deliver 1:1 teaching in functional English and Maths (Entry Level), French and/or Hebrew Embed life-skills learning: money, food preparation, travel training, community access Use visual, concrete teaching methods (e.g. Numicon) tailored to individual learning style Work with SLT strategies to support communication, self-advocacy and social skills Support emotional regulation using visual aids and consistent routines Liaise with therapists (OT, SLT, Physiotherapy) and family as part of a joined-up plan  Requirements  QTS preferred; substantial SEND teaching experience considered Experience with Down Syndrome, learning disabilities or complex communication needs Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain); full UK driving licence preferred</description>
