We are looking for SEN Tutor who is eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs with a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.
The Opportunity:
This SEN Tutor role is perfect for someone looking to step away from the classroom and make a difference to the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to boost engagement and attainment levels. They must also have significant experience supporting students with SEN and must apply a nurturing and patient approach in their practice.
Contract/Position Details:
- Location - Within Wakefield, takes place in pupils home or at schools
- Position - SEN Tutor to support with core subjects
- Start date - ASAP
- Hours - Working hours can differentiate, typically between 8am to 4pm
To be eligible for this role:
- QTS or equivalent (including PGCE)
- Possess UK classroom teaching experience
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide professional references covering you for the last two years.
