SEN tutor

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-to-one tuition to students with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, etc.)

• Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and EHCP goals

• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and their families

• Track and report on student progress

• Liaise with parents, schools, and support staff where necessary

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)

• Teaching or tutoring experience (QTS or unqualified tutors welcome)

• Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

• Strong communication and organisation skills

• Must be able to work independently and adapt to different learning environments

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK

• Relevant qualifications or experience in education, SEN, or child development
