Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: Birkenhead (CH41)
Pay Rate: £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-time / Flexible Hours

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to support students with additional learning needs in the CH41 area of Birkenhead. This role involves providing 1:1 tailored tuition to help pupils engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

• Adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and needs

• Support students with academic development, confidence, and engagement

• Implement effective behaviour management strategies where required

• Provide regular feedback and progress updates

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEN students (in schools, tutoring, or similar settings)

• Strong understanding of differentiated learning approaches

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Relevant teaching or tutoring qualification preferred
