SEN Tutor

Remedy Tutors are currently looking for outstanding SEN-tutors in the Essex area to work with-students with varied needs in a non-school or outreach setting.
This is an exciting-opportunity to teach core subjects, and to provide one-to-one education to students who are-temporarily lacking a school placement and will require tuition until a permanent placement at a school is secured.
The individuals you will be tutoring have a range of SENs including but not limited to-ADHD, ADD, ODD, SEMH, ASD and Dyslexia; students also may have-difficulties with spelling, reading comprehension, reasoning and processing, so as a Tutor you will need to be positive, resilient and have lots of patience.-
This is a rewarding role where you will be able to make real progress with your students, enabling and simplifying learning outside of the classroom which will allow creative delivery and personalised lesson planning to suit the needs of the individual.
The successful candidate requires the following;
- Previous SEN Tutoring and teaching experience
- UK recognised teaching qualification
- National Curriculum knowledge for SEN
- Enhanced DBS ideally registered on the Update service
