Are you a passionate SEN Tutor who wants to make a genuine difference to a young person''s education and confidence?

Academics are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition and personalised support to a Key Stage 1 student with SEN in the Sittingbourne area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN Tutor, Teacher, HLTA or experienced education professional who enjoys building strong relationships and creating engaging, personalised learning experiences.

The Role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 tuition to a student with SEN
• Create a positive, supportive and engaging learning environment where the student feels safe, valued and motivated to learn
• Use creative and alternative ways of communicating, including visual supports, practical activities and kinaesthetic, play-based learning
• Develop a strong, trusting relationship with the student, celebrating their progress and achievements along the way
• Work with the family to support the student''s development and progress
• Have the support from an Academics team member every step of the way

We''re Looking For:

• Experienced SEN Tutor, Teacher, HLTA or SEN professional
• Individual with experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• Patient, empathetic and nurturing professional who can create a calm and positive learning environment
• Engaging and motivating educator who can build a strong connection with a student on a 1:1 basis
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Professional with a genuine passion for helping young people build confidence, overcome barriers and reach their potential
