SEN Tutor - 1:1 In-Person TuitionLocation: Yeovil, Somerset - home and/or community-based tuitionAge range: Children and young peopleFocus: SEN, EBSA, ADHD and ASDDelivery: In-person only - this is not online tuitionPay: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experienceQuantum Scholars are looking for a caring, patient and experienced SEN Tutor to support children and young people in and around Yeovil, Somerset.This is an in-person tuition role. Tuition will usually take place in the child or young person''s home and/or a suitable community setting, depending on the individual referral. Please note that this is not online work, so applicants must be able to travel to Yeovil and the surrounding areas.We work with children and young people who may be educated other than at school, awaiting a suitable placement, or in need of personalised support due to SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety or gaps in education.We are particularly interested in tutors who have experience supporting learners with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful tutor will need to provide a calm, nurturing and flexible approach, helping learners build trust, confidence and positive engagement with education.The role may involve:Providing 1:1 in-person tuition for children and young people in and around YeovilSupporting learners with EBSA, ADHD, ASD and associated SEMH needsTravelling to pupils'' homes and/or suitable community settingsPlanning and delivering ..... full job details .....
