SEN Teaching Assistants - Scunthorpe and Surrounding AreasStart: ASAPContract: Supply and CoverPay: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply and cover basis across mainstream and specialist provisions in Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small-group basisAssisting with classroom activities and learning interventionsFollowing individual support plans and behaviour strategiesWorking collaboratively with class teachers, SENDCos, and support staffProviding personal care where required (training provided if needed)Promoting independence, engagement, and wellbeing for all pupilsRequirementsExperience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)Ability to travel to different schools across Scunthorpe and nearby areasA positive, adaptable, and proactive attitudeStrong communication and teamwork skillsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)Desirable Training / Qualifications(Highly advantageous but not essential)Team Teach / Positive Behaviour SupportPersonal Care / Manual HandlingSpeech and Language trainingAutism AwarenessMoving and Handling or Medical Needs trainingWhat We OfferFlexible working to suit your scheduleA variety of placements in friendly, supportive schoolsOngoing CPD and training ..... full job details .....
