SEN Teaching Assistants

School House Recruitment urgently need more SEN Teaching Assistants for Primary School assignments in the Rotherham area. We are especially keen to speak with SEN Teaching Assistants who have specific Nursery experience. The schools we assist love the idea of working closely with a smaller, independent supply teaching specialist that genuinely looks after its supply staff. As a result, we urgently require additional, motivated and enthusiastic people looking to work on day-to-day and/or long-term assignments starting asap. Ideally, the individals we need are Level 2 and/or Full and Relevant (for pupil ratio reasons) Level 3 qualified and have practical classroom experience working with pupils who have additional needs. The additional needs can be specific e.g. Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language, or more general learning difficulties. The SEN Teaching Assistants we need also have strong literacy and numeracy skills and are familiar with the more popular learning systems e.g. Phonics/Read Write Inc. and White Rose Maths/Maths Makes Sense. Whether working closely with the class teacher in whole class, taking smaller groups or doing 1-2-1 intervention work, our SEN Teaching Assistants confidently provide a valuable contribution to the schools we assist.
