Sen Teaching Assistant
Role Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school setting within the Redbridge area. This role involves working closely with teaching staff to support students’ learning, development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.

Support students with learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.

Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and positive behaviour.

Support with personal care where required.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff.
Requirements
-
Previous experience working with SEN children (essential).

School-based experience (desirable).
-
Valid Enhanced DBS (required).
-
Ability to commit to Monday–Friday during school hours.

Patient, reliable, and proactive approach.
