      <description>Location: East Boldon | Salary: &amp;pound;400 - &amp;pound;500/week | Type: Temporary | SEN Teaching Assistant – SEND School Sunderland | Full Time £14.24 P/H (pre-AWR, depending on experience and/or qualifications) ASAP – Long Term Role  The School and Role We are recruiting a committed Level SEN Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Sunderland. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.  You will be supporting secondary-aged pupils (Key Stages 3 and 4) with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, all of whom have an EHCP. Classes are small, allowing you to build strong, consistent relationships and provide meaningful, targeted support.  This role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils across the full curriculum, supporting engagement in learning, managing behaviour, and promoting emotional regulation.  Many students have experienced barriers to learning or previous disengagement from education.
