SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1) Chigwell, EssexFull-time September Start (or ASAP)Competitive Daily Rate PAYEVision for Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Chigwell, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Reception.This rewarding role involves supporting a pupil with high-needs autism who is non-verbal. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child access learning, develop communication skills, and build positive relationships within the school environment.The Role Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with complex additional needs.Supporting the child''s learning, communication and emotional regulation throughout the school day.Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to implement personalised support strategies.Using a calm, patient and nurturing approach to create a safe and engaging learning environment.Encouraging independence while supporting the child''s individual needs. The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will: Have previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex or high-needs SEN.Have experience working with non-verbal children or using alternative communication strategies (desirable).Be patient, resilient and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.Be confident working on a 1:1 basis and ..... full job details .....
