Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 and Small Group Support) - Full-TimeLocation: Liverpool, MerseysideContract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time OnlyJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Liverpool, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs across early years, primary, and secondary age groups. The school serves families from Liverpool and surrounding areas across Merseyside.This role involves providing tailored 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning, build independence, and achieve their individual potential within a supportive and inclusive school community.The successful candidate will have prior experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and a genuine passion for inclusive education.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide SEN support: Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties, adapting approaches to suit different ages and abilities.Support learning and development: Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum through differentiated activities, sensory approaches, and targeted interventions aligned with their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).Promote inclusion and engagement: Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports positive behaviour, confidence, and active participation in learning.Work ..... full job details .....
