      <description>Location: Accrington | Salary: 14.49-14.49 Hourly | Type: Contract | We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to provide one-to-one support for a child with additional needs who is being reintegrated into the classroom. You will work closely with the child to support their academic, social, and emotional development, helping them engage fully in school life.This position is starting in September 2026, after an initial contract it may become a temp to perm contract.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN.Assist with learning, behavior, and social integration.Work with the teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and support.Monitor progress and report feedback.Requirements:Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).Experience working with SEN childrenPatience, empathy, and strong communication skills.Ability to work as part of a team.Safeguarding and Application Requirements: All applicants are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) following our safeguarding policy.Your CV should cover the last 10 years of employment, including explanations for any employment breaks.
