SEN Teaching Assistant - Full TimeLocation: Bury, Greater ManchesterContract: Full Time, Term Time OnlyJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Bury, providing support to primary and secondary-aged pupils with a variety of special educational needs.You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage with learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills. The role involves creating a positive and nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their individual goals.Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential. You must also be comfortable assisting with personal care, including toileting, changing and hygiene routines, where required.This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is caring, patient and committed to helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and develop greater independence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and small group support to pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, SEMH and communication difficulties.Assist teachers in delivering adapted learning activities and interventions that reflect pupils'' individual needs and EHCP targets.Support pupils with personal care, including toileting, washing, dressing, changing and continence needs, ensuring dignity, privacy and respect at all times.Help pupils develop ..... full job details .....
