This rewarding role involves working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support, helping pupils achieve their individual learning goals in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational NeedsAssist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities across the primary curriculumSupport pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsHelp implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual learning programmesEncourage pupils'' independence, confidence, and social development through positive interactions and consistent supportPromote positive behaviour using effective behaviour management strategies and school policiesWork collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, therapists, parents, and external agencies to support pupil progressAssist with personal care where required, ensuring pupils'' dignity, wellbeing, and safety are always maintainedRequirementsPrevious experience ..... full job details .....
