SEN Teaching Assistant (Mainstream)Burnley£90 - £105 per day Long term contractImmediate startWorking hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm About the roleWe are looking for confident and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our team in the Burnley area. You will be working at mainstream primary schools, supporting children with additional needs, across various age groups.Due to the high demand in schools at the moment, we are in the position to offer long-term or short-term roles to suit your needs.This is an opportunity to gain experience in a variety of educational settings and age groups. A Teaching Assistant s Responsibilities: Assisting the Class Teacher with tailoring lessons to varying needsAssisting with group activitiesWorking with children on a 1:1 and group basisCarrying out interventions where neededProviding additional support to children with a range of SEN needsReporting to teachers/parents on progress What We re Looking For Minimum of 6 months previous experience working within schoolsConfident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staffBe able to handle difficult situations and behaviour efficientlyFlexible and able to cover where needed across EYFS-KS2A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience) If this is the right role for you, please apply with your CV and we will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
