SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Mansfield Contract: After October half term 2026 - to transfer over to a permanent contact with the school (interviews w/c 5th October)Hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to FridaySetting: SEN School KS3 - KS4 About the RoleAn inclusive SEN school in Mansfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant from September 2026. You will support pupils with SEN, SEMH needs, helping them regulate behaviour, build confidence and re-engage with learning. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment with small classes, strong pastoral support and an experienced team. Key Responsibilities Support pupils with SEN students across KS3 and KS4 Provide 1:1 and small-group learning and emotional support Implement behaviour plans and risk assessments Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement Uphold safeguarding and welfare procedures The Ideal CandidateCalm, resilient and nurturing, with experience supporting SEMH or SEN pupils. Confident managing challenging behaviour and building strong relationships.
