SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 12 SupportFull Time Long Term Start ASAPWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Wandsworth. This is a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible, working 1:1 with a Year 12 female student with additional learning needs.In this role, you will provide consistent, tailored support to help the student access learning, build independence, and develop confidence both academically and socially. You will work closely with teaching staff and wider professionals to ensure she receives structured, individualised support that meets her specific needs and helps prepare her for adulthood.Key responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 support to a Year 12 student with additional needsSupporting access to learning across a range of subjects and activitiesEncouraging independence, confidence, and positive decision-makingAdapting learning approaches to suit individual needsSupporting emotional regulation and maintaining a calm, structured environmentWorking collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other professionalsSupporting social development and communication skillsWe are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and committed to making a genuine difference. You should be confident working on a one-to-one basis and able to build a positive, trusting relationship with a young person.
