SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants who are available for daily supply and long-term opportunities. The school:Provides tailored support to pupils aged 4-11 years with a wide range of needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning difficulties. Every child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school are committed to helping each pupil thrive both academically and personally. The Role:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide individualised and small-group support to pupils with diverse needs.Assist in delivering engaging, accessible lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.Support children''s personal, social and emotional development.Help create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure pupils reach their full potential. About You:We''re looking for someone who is:Experienced in supporting children with SEND, ideally within a school setting (3-6 months minimum)Knowledgeable about strategies to support children with ASD and learning difficulties.Patient, resilient, and compassionate.Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Committed to promoting independence and celebrating every achievement.
