SEN Teaching Assistant - NottinghamshireFull job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant - NottinghamshireJanuary 2027 Start Full-Time and Part-Time OpportunitiesTradewind Recruitment is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants across Nottinghamshire for a number of roles expected to start from January 2027.We are working with primary schools looking for experienced and enthusiastic support staff to work with pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs and learning difficulties.Roles may include 1:1 support, small-group intervention work or supporting pupils within the classroom.Responsibilities may include:Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needsSupporting children with learning, communication and emotional regulationHelping pupils access classroom activities and the wider curriculumDelivering targeted interventions and small-group supportSupporting behaviour using positive strategiesWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staffHelping create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environmentRequirements:Previous experience supporting children or young people with SENA patient, calm and supportive approachStrong communication skillsAbility to build positive relationships with pupilsRelevant TA or SEN qualifications are desirable but not essential where strong experience is demonstratedEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for oneRight to work in the UKRates of pay will depend on the ..... full job details .....
