SEN Teaching AssistantFull job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant - NottinghamAre you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a primary school in Nottingham?Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.Roles may involve one-to-one support, small-group work and classroom support for pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, learning needs or challenging behaviour.We are looking for full-time and part-time candidates, with short-term and long-term opportunities available.ResponsibilitiesProviding one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SENDSupporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needsHelping pupils access classroom learning through appropriate adaptationsWorking towards targets outlined within EHCPs and individual support plansSupporting communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviourDelivering targeted interventions where requiredWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionalsHelping pupils develop confidence and independenceRequirementsPrevious experience supporting children or young people with SENDExperience providing one-to-one support is highly desirableA Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, although relevant experience will also be consideredA calm, patient and consistent approachStrong communication and ..... full job details .....
