SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a SEND ARP within a mainstream primary school in Ruislip.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, patient and proactive LSA who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential.

• Setting: SEND ARP within a mainstream primary school
• Start: ASAP
• Contract: Full-time, long-term
• Pay: -95115 per day PAYE
• Experience: SEN experience required

You will work closely with the ARP team to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, both within the specialist provision and, where appropriate, alongside their mainstream peers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development
• Helping pupils develop communication and social skills
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Following individual support plans and EHCP targets
• Creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment
• Working closely with teachers and other professionals
• Encouraging pupils to develop independence and confidence

We''re looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, resilient and adaptable, with previous experience supporting children with SEND.

Experience with Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, sensory needs, complex needs or behavioural needs would be highly desirable.
