SEN Teaching Assistant - South Liverpool | Full Time | Summer 2026 & September 2026 Starts | Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of supportive and inclusive schools across South Liverpool. We have full-time opportunities available for both Summer 2026 and September 2026 starts.

These roles are ideal for committed individuals who are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing classroom environment.

The Role:

• Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant positions

• Opportunities starting in Summer 2026 and continuing into September 2026

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

• Working with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

• Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom management

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is essential

• A strong understanding of SEN support strategies and behaviour management

• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
