EN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Medical & Complex Needs) - Enfield

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in Enfield for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with complex medical and physical needs.

This full-time role offers the chance to have a lasting impact on a young person''s education while working within a supportive SEN team.

You will provide full wraparound support including:

• Morning and afternoon transition support
• Personal care and toileting assistance
• Feeding support during breaks
• Ensuring strict allergy protocols are followed
• Supporting learning inside and outside the classroom
• Building confidence and independence
• Working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals

Hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

• Previous SEN, care or support experience
• Confidence providing personal care
• A patient, empathetic approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
