Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible supply basis across a Trust of schools in the Doncaster area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of supportive and inclusive school settings while enjoying the flexibility that supply work can offer. Whether you''re an experienced Teaching Assistant or have previous experience supporting children and young people with additional needs, we''d love to hear from you.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you''ll play a vital role in helping pupils to achieve their full potential by providing tailored support both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Working with children with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties.
• Supporting pupils'' academic, social and emotional development.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and support staff.
• Adapting to different school environments across the Trust.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN in an education, care or support setting.
• A patient, nurturing and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
