SEN TA Reception ASD and Personal CareLocation: RedbridgeStart Date: ImmediateContract: Long TermHours: 08 15Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience We are looking for a caring, patient and experienced SEN TA to join a welcoming primary school in Redbridge, supporting a Reception child with ASD who is non-verbal and requires dedicated 1:1 support. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate SEN TA who has experience working with children with autism and understands the importance of a calm, consistent and nurturing approach. The successful SEN TA will work closely with the child throughout the school day, supporting their communication, learning, development and emotional regulation. Personal care is also required as part of the role, so the successful candidate must be comfortable providing this support. The RoleAs a SEN TA, you will: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Reception child with ASD. Support a non-verbal child with their communication and interaction. Help the child access learning and classroom activities. Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Encourage independence and development through age-appropriate activities. Provide personal care when required. Follow individual support strategies and guidance from the school. Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team.
