Location: HaveringStart Date: ImmediateContract: Long TermHours: 08 15Pay: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are currently looking for a caring and experienced SEN TA to join a welcoming primary school in Havering after the half term break. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated SEN TA who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs, particularly pupils with ASD.The successful SEN TA will work across the school, supporting a number of pupils with SEN and helping them to access learning, develop their confidence and build positive relationships with both staff and their peers.As a SEN TA, you will provide a combination of 1:1 and small-group support, adapting your approach to suit the individual needs of each pupil. The school is looking for a SEN TA who understands that every child is different and can provide a patient, consistent and nurturing approach.As a SEN TA, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD.Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.Working alongside the class teacher and wider support team.Helping pupils to engage with their learning and develop independence.Supporting pupils with communication, social and emotional needs.Providing a calm and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional regulation.Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.Helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
