We are seeking a dedicated, patient and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cheltenham.About the RoleThis rewarding role involves working with two year 4 pupils who have EHCPs in place. The children don''t have high levels of need and there are no behavioural concerns, However, they require consistent, skilled adult support to access learning, develop independence, and remain safe within the school environment. They are currently working at a couple of levels below year 4, so would suit someone that has knowledge of both KS1 and KS2 curriculum.You will work closely alongside the class teacher and a team of Teaching Assistants to:Support pupils with SEND needs on their personalised education pathwaysHelp implement tailored learning programmes aligned with EHCP outcomesMaintain a safe, structured and nurturing environmentSupport emotional regulation, communication and social developmentPromote positive behaviour and engagement with learningContribute to regular reviews and planning discussionsThis is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication skills, resilience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience working with children ..... full job details .....
