TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Selly Oak. The school has a strong focus on supporting every child, with a kind and dedicated staff team who create a positive learning environment for pupils with additional needs.

The school is looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis, starting immediately. The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils with SEND, including children with behavioural needs, working closely with the class teacher to promote engagement, manage behaviour, and support learning across the classroom.

The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with behavioural needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
