These specialist settings support children and young people with Autism / ASD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs, providing tailored support to help pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning. The SEN Teaching Assistant will initially work on a day-to-day basis, with opportunities to secure long-term positions within local SEND provisions. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with ASD and SEMH needs, assisting with classroom activities, managing challenging behaviours and helping students access their learning in a safe and supportive environment.
