TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision based in Wolverhampton, who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The setting provides a caring and inclusive environment for pupils of mixed ages and abilities, supporting students with a range of additional needs.

The school is looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across different age groups with mixed needs, helping with learning, communication, emotional development, behaviour support and promoting independence within the classroom.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
· Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs
· Experience working within an education, care or support setting
· Understanding of SEND and the challenges pupils may face
· A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
