The school provides a mainstream learning environment and is seeking an experienced member of support staff who can provide consistent, individualised support to a pupil with additional needs.The school is looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP and continuing until July 2027, working mornings from 8:30am until 12:30pm. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 boy with severe autism / ASD and challenging behaviours, helping him access learning, manage his behaviour and remain engaged throughout the school morning.The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have: Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs / SEN Experience supporting children with autism / ASD Experience managing challenging behaviours Experience providing 1:1 support within an education setting A patient, resilient and calm approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills In return for the above you can expect to receive: A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you ..... full job details .....
