TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND school in Sale that supports secondary-aged students with a range of additional learning needs. The school promotes an inclusive and nurturing environment where every student is encouraged to develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start available. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support secondary-aged students both in and out of the classroom, helping to manage learning, behaviour and social development while working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging and accessible learning opportunities.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• A passion for supporting students with additional needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to remain calm, patient and adaptable in challenging situations
• Experience supporting students on a one-to-one or small group basis
• A positive and proactive approach to learning support
