Sen Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with specialist SEND provisions across Mansfield that provide supportive and structured learning environments for children and young people with a range of additional needs. These settings focus on creating positive experiences where students can develop their confidence, independence, and engagement with learning.We are looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant for flexible day-to-day work with the opportunity to progress into a long-term placement. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist students with their individual learning needs, and work closely with teachers and support staff to promote positive engagement and behaviour. This SEND Teaching Assistant role requires someone who is patient, adaptable, and confident supporting students who may require additional assistance throughout the school day.The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND• An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS• Experience within an education, SEND, or care setting• Strong communication and behaviour management skills• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting learningIn return for the above you can expect to receive:• A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process• CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression ..... full job details .....
