The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work between 8:30am and 4pm, supporting pupils through small group work, adaptive learning strategies and play-based learning, while also supporting personal care, behaviour regulation and Pre-Key Stage assessment within the classroom.The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or 6 months plus relevant experience • Experience supporting children and young people with SEND • Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and behaviour support strategies • Experience supporting pupils with emotional regulation and personal care • Knowledge of Pre-Key Stage assessment and differentiated learning approaches • A patient, proactive and can-do attitudeIn return for the above you can expect to...
